    Sallyanne Morrison

    DIRECTOR & OPTOMETRIST

I am Sallyanne Morrison, the Director and Principal Optometrist of Morrison's Family Eye Care Centre. After gaining my Bachelor of Optometry degree from the University of NSW with Honours, I worked for a few years in a Paediatric Eye Clinic in Perth, WA. Being born, bred and educated in Dubbo, the lure to return to NSW and be closer to my family was too great. I started Morrison's Family Eye Care here in Dubbo in 1992, and have been providing quality eye care to the region ever since.

My professional interests include prescribing and problem solving issues associated with contact lens wear. I also really enjoy behavioural optometry, as well as treating and assessing children's vision problems.

I have also completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Ocular Therapeutics. This course allows me to not only diagnose, but to treat anterior eye conditions such as conjunctivitis, removal of foreign bodies and objects from eyes, corneal ulcers and in-growing eye lashes.

Outside of work, I am a bit of a crazy cat lady! I love spending some quiet time with my family around our home, and shepherding my children to their various activities. They keep me grounded and young at heart.
